dang a coin shop pays that? me being cheap thats a 20 buck difference ahhh...

I deal with a private buyer, but only because he comes to my house. The coin shops pay about the same, but I have to go to them. I'm lazy as well.. Coming to me gets you the coins lol.

I made a bunch of calls around and found that $4 per 40%er is about normal so I went with this guy.

Unless he is a good trustworthy friend or you live in Ft. Knox I wouldn't let people know where you lived. Next time he may come get them when you are not home.

Nah he won't even think of coming in my house. I have a 7' alligator in my living room. The picture below is from 3 years ago. He's about 2 ft longer now and is a good 300 lbs.

Who needs a guard dog?

He'e been buying coins for a while and I got a good reference on him. That is how I got his number.

And why again do you have an alligator as a pet?

That is much better than a guard dog, not sure I'd want it in the living room though.

is the gator friendly or do you have to handle him with care (ie: gloves and tools)

It is better not to ask why but to ask why not.

You cannot tame a dinosaur.

how do u get him out of the kiddie pool then ? :tongue3:

d2 I wouldn't think twice about selling 40's at that price!

and the

Gator is an awesome reptile! ffd

That's a pretty good price, about 88% of their value as of today's close. You might be able to sell them on CL for closer to melt or melt but be careful!

HH,

$ilver$urfer :hello:

I guess if you want 8X face go for it. I always like to get the most out of mine....Matt

He's friendly, but he is an alligator. I do use caution with him though. I've had him since he was 10" long so he is used to people.

And before anyone asks he is legal to own. I live in NH (one of the only 2 states that allow gators as pets) and the state knows I have him. They have been here to inspect his enclosure and health a couple of times.

Tha gator is cool! :headbang:

I had one years ago when I was a kid but sadly it didn't survive. Years later I bought a Camen(spelling?) but later gave it away to a cousin who worked in a pet store. Does yours seek attention like a dog or cat would from it's owner or just keep to itself? Thanks for the picture!

He used to love attention. Now that he is as large as he is we don't take him out of the enclosure much. We dedicated 1/2 our living room to his enclosure.

He doesn't like to come out much. He prefers to just hang out in a corner of the cage or sit in the water. On the rare occasion he wants to come out we are aware and cautious around him just because of him being an alligator and all lol.

As nice as he is and as puppy like that he seems you have to always remember he is a killing machine that could kill you if he wanted to. Although we never feel threatened by him in any way.

He will let you pet him but then he gets bored and backs away.
