Kinda reminds me of a miniature little man with a gold sash across his chest. Cool find Oakview2!.....63bkpkr

I always fancied it as a mini horned owl8-)

No prospecting for me this weekend, too many family things, but had some great luck this weekend. Went to the club Christmas potluck. Bought fifty dollars of tickets, and won a buck knife, tool pouch, magnesium fire starter, and plastic storeage tray and this. It is a California Sluicebox large highbanker valued at 450.00. I already have one that Dale made a good price on. First time I have ever one anything of signifigance. Even a blind pig finds a acorn every once in a while...

Well done goodguy. You just gave me proof that gold miners can out exaggerate fishermen.
that looks like treasure off of an old California steamer shipwreck. Is it?:3barsgold:

I have a younger sister, who because of a back injury cannot dig, so I made her up some paydirt and on a whim I bought a 10.00 bag of paydirt to throw in with her pan and snuffer. Here is what she found. Not bad for her first time panning.

So far this is my best 10 gallons of ore I have ran. I have 10 more to go then I will dry and weigh it all.
It rattles well. LOL
