Glad you are having Spring! Every day for the last week we have had snow! It doesn't stick and is usually gone by noon. Today we woke to about 1-1/2 inches of snow, and it is still snowing at 1pm. Temps. are in the mid 40sF.

Looking good Bill. Did you just plant it?
Hoagie..Hi
When we bought it from the nurseries it had many branches like a bush.
After awhile I cut all the branches and left one trunk to make it into a tree..
It’s one of the first flowering trees here and the blooms only last a few weeks

Seems like your area is getting more snow than us this season..Snow accumulation this season over here was on the low side and we only had the driveway plowed one time when it exceeded four inches..However I’ve seen blizzards in late April
Take care

Cool ... I have a butterfly bush that I've been trimming back & shaping into a tree.

Yes we have several in the yard also..They have a nice fragrance.I don’t know if we could do that here as they die off in the winter and come back in the Spring
Do they also die off in the Winter in your area

We are covering our peas & beets in the garden tonight - low 30's here in the Southern Tier.
Beautiful yesterday and what a difference today,,Good Luck with your garden I think the next few nights will be on the cool side....I planted some radish seeds yesterday for the first time did you ever have success with them

Yep...Spring is definitely here.....I think..

Bill, next time you take a pic on a day like that, try using your flash. It will
provide more light on the flowers to help overcome the blue sky in the
background.

Thank You I noticed it could have been better.I used a IPhone when I was on the tractor and good question I don’t know if it has a flash.
Yesterday was tee shirt weather and cool today and will be in the low thirty’s tonight.
How’s conditions in your area
Take care

I've never bothered with radishes really....usually my early plantings are peas and beets...beets because you can thin them and eat the greens. Ours are just poking through the ground.

I probably should try them also .I like the pickled beets with onion on the store shelves.
Are they compatible with each other and are they hard to grow..perhaps I should get some seeds. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful Bill
Hope the deer and frost don't take a nibble.

Pepperj Thank You..it’s going to be cold tonight and hope there is no frost..Anymore I have to fence the nice trees as the bucks would snap that with their antlers or take a few bites. After trimming it back for many years I finally got it to bloom nicely.although I think they do better being sheltered among other trees

Our weather here seems to be bi-polar this time of year. Mornings in
the mid-low 30's, but they say it supposed to reach 60 tomorrow
afternoon. This afternoon I ran the mower for the first time this year
across the fine blend of moss/grass that identifies as my front lawn..

The only bad part about having 20+ full grown cedar trees on the place
is that they shed, so they'll be plenty of rake time spent, and another
few hours getting it all burnt.
Pepper...nice work! :occasion14:
