Hit a favorite park last Sunday and came up with 9 Indians, a flying eagle cent (although toasted, my first), a Merc, Roosie and small piece of silver jewelry. The war nickel, other Roosie and 1939 Worlds Fair token came from another spot and the 1883 V Nickel came from a small grass area in a heavily hunted old local church. Picked that up while trying a new program on my CTX. I love finding Indians and it was nice knocking one off the bucket list with the flying eagle.

Nice score brother! Really like that flying eagle. on my bucket list for sure

Congrats - Great day!!!:occasion14:

Some nice coins there Don. Really like that tribe of Indians and the FE, that's one still on my bucket list.

I typically find 4 IH cents per year, but this year I more than doubled that to 9 for 2015...as many as you found in one single day! Congrats on all the finds, and especially the hard to find flying eagle.

Well done Don,
Man you closed out the year with a real score.
I have one more hunt tomorrow. I'm stuck in a silver drought .

Noticed quite a few Flying Eagle cents being found and posted this last month or so.

Almost a 160 year old set of coins. (1857-58)

Don't expect too many were lost in the mid-1800's...

Beauty flying eagle! I missed one last week with an 1859 cent. Great set of injuns too.

nice haul.congrats on the F.E

Very nice hunt, great selection of recovered coins. :occasion14:

when yer hot, yer HOT! WOW!
What-a-HAUL!
Keep posting your finds - at least
we'll know who's finding ALL the good stuff! :laughing7:

Been awhile since I seen a post from you.
Good score on the IH pennies.
I have found one FE but it is beyond toast.

Good Luck Out There.

That world's fair token of 1939 came up in unbelievable shape.Great finds all.

Nice hunts and finds Don ! Congrats on your first Flying Eagle cent, I hope to cross that off my bucket list someday. That worlds fair token is awesome too!! Happy New Years!

Congrats on the great hunt. 18 keepers in one day is great in my book. I can see why this is a favored park. I looking for my 1st FE, I see one coming in 2016.

The parks around here need to hang out with your parks. They could learn a thing or two!

Congrats on your first Flying Eagle. They are a tough coin to pull because of the short duration they had.
