silver and CW lead

I am fairly lucky to have two CW skirmish sites with in 10 miles from my house. I have hunted the legal areas around the sites with little luck. I have been told that these areas have been beat to death by relic hunters for the last 30 years and I believe it. I had a guy tell me that there are still a few bullets to be found in the swamp and thick woods so I jumped in head first.
Well I am cut all to pieces but I did manage two minnies. This is not much but it seems like a major victory for me in my search for the CW close to home. I am really wanting to hunt the river this summer to see if it is productive for relics or bottles. In my recon mission it looks to be very muddy which will make hunting kind of rough but it will be worth a shot.
I also found a 1956 quarter which was a bonus. I hit an old home close by and that was the only coin found. Strange ,not even any clad. Gonna hit the woods again tomorrow ,maybe I will get another minnie or two. :coffee2:

Silver and lead, ill take that any day. Keep hitting the woods around those sites and I'm sure you will come up with some good cw relics. HH

Nice finds Trent, looks like you found a gun trigger too...any writings on it? I wonder if it was from a toy or the real deal? Great job, I am still coughing but finally out of this sickness, some 3 weeks later.
