I did some detecting with my brother near a local dump that is from the 50's and we dug a nice '53 D rosie and a little box, possibly silver, with a fancy design on it. I was thinking it is an old match box but im not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Please take the time to watch our video where we recover these finds and show some other cool finds we have made lately. Thanks for looking and HH!

Wet it (spit works) and wrap it in Tin foil. Wait a few minutes and open it up. Should smell like rotten eggs if it's silver. Awesome find!!

Pretty sure that is a lipstick compact. There was probably a mirror inside the top at some point. My grandmother had one that looked a little like it. Probably dates to the 1940's, Neat find!
