Silver at the coinstar plus clad

Well I did a few coinstar visits today...yesterday I got a good pile of clad but no silver...
Today was different...got a 1950 Roosevelt dime....I'm still reeling from my missed chance a few days back...it happened as I approached a coinstar I don't visit much....a husband and wife just finished paying for groceries...I watched in horror as he pulled out a huge amount of coins from the reject bin...I said to him, "well you beat me to it"....he showed me his newly acquired treasure and I spotted a silver quarter...there may have been more....anyway, it turns out he was also a metal detectorist and he'd recovered a 1789 coin that day...
I guess it was just his day... can't win em all.

Really?! I new it was going up..dumb question..can silver dimes be sold for melt value? I've got quite a few..

If you take it to a dealer, you might find one who'll give you 90 percent of spot. If you try the usual online platforms, you could get lucky, depending on the fee schedule.
