Silver Dime Error Updated With Pic

Found a silver dime last night with 2 extra knobs on the edge on the top and bottom. Any idea of what kind of error it is. The knobs actually stick a little instead of fold onto the coin. The top one is larger than the bottom.

Sounds like it could be a cud error but you really need to post a photo for us to see what you're talking about.

Does it look like this? If it has two cuds, it would be a fairly impressive error coin, certainly worth more than its silver content.

That picture still doesnt help much. Its not easy getting a good picture close up on something small though. Anyway from that view (which again means not much) it looks like a coin that was welded to fit a bracelet or something.

The two extensions I see are from jewelry welds. They extend beyond the coin rim. They were added to keep the coin secure in a bezel.

Sorry, not an error, and not made during striking of the coin, but added later.

Someone Gave Me a Tip On Takeing Pics If You Use The Flower Setting On Your Camra To Take The Picture
Thats Macro And Is Good I Then Use a Free Software Called Photoscape And Maybe just Give It Some Light
And They Come Out Ok Just Resize The Photo To Reduce 800 And Youve Got It

You May Want To Experiment A Bit But Thats All I Do

Reducing the photo is usually good, but in this case cropping is all that's needed. I used the paint program to do this (everyone already has it for free if they're using windows).

Thanks for the replies. I actually was talking to my friends dad and when he was younger he and his brother mad a mercury dime bracelet. So I guess that was the thing to do back in the day.
