SILVER DISC?

Found at amusement park location with other items
from 1900 -1940.

Size as shown.
Paper thin but stiff.
Seems that silver is some sort of coating over
a plastic like material.
Not metal, not magnetic.
If you find them they look like one, but you pick it
up and it is several on top of each other. As if they
were stacked on top of each other in use.

Have come across them twice, first time they were
lost in the diggings.

Have no idea.

Mica sounds pretty likely. It also has great tolerances as far as heat and compression ratings go.

I have an old arrow house fuse i just dug out of my relics box and it does have mica like that...wonder what happened to the rest of them ???
