Silver Dollar!

Secured permission at church site yesterday, and hunted there for an hour before the skeeters drove me nuts. Made a run for the country store and bought a can of OFF, paid 8 bucks but it was worth it!
Went back and continued working the small picnic area out back, lots of junk in the ground, got a weird tone and decided to dig. Out came this big black disk. Scorched Morgan dollar!
Decided to try and clean it, cause at first I thought it was a fake.
That may have been a mistake, but I don't plan on selling my finds anyway.....enjoy pics. ffd

Thanks everyone, yes I found the dollar at the church site, sought permission to detect and spoke to the priest about the history of the place. The caretaker there, (nice place) told me that many have hunted there over the years. Father there even gave me a book on the history of the church...side of the property I hunted is newer, (1899), as the original church sat in the cemetary on the opp side of road. ffd

Ha ha believe it or not, a little spit and shiny side of a piece aluminum foil. If it wasn't already scorched, I wouldn't have had to try to restore it. Final pics:
