Glad I hit the lakes while they were down because now all my lake spots here in north Texas are under 10-20 ft. of water. So now I'm switching to old home lots.
First couple of hunts and I got a nice sterling "duck" pendant, a cool 1960s Tootsie car (Mercedes 450SL) with all of its wheels in tact, an old pocket watch, keys, clad, and one 1955 wheat (need to clean it up to see if it's a double-die).

Maybe I should pay closer attention... I think you're right, in as much as it's definitely not a duck... good catch. As a matter of fact it's a chick of some kind hatching out of an egg.

Ed, Great hunt, congrats. I predict that a young girl named "Robin" lost that sterling pendant. It depicts a robin raising an earthworm to its beak with its foot. (IMHO) And Robin must have been rewarded with the pendant for being punctual, as the early bird gets the worm. :tongue3: Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)

nice day you had
