Silver Help

So I dug about 30 pull tabs today with my Explorer II (all were showing up as coins on the visual readout and ringing high on my earphones). --Still looking for my first silver coin. Wondering if you guys could give me some tips on the sound(s) of silver as well how it shows up on the number screen.

Pulltabs are more in the nickle & gold range... silver should have a higher conductivity #... scan a pulltab and then a quarter.. note the difference, silver usualyy reads like or close to a quarter. You may need to change settings in the audio menu? HH

Your doing everything right. Keep digging those high tones, and hunt where you think old coins were dropped, in places where people don't frequent anymore. Think about that for a minute.


That's how I have my best luck finding silver.
