I posted this a few months ago at the time I found it. It is still my best find. It was completely intact when I found it at about 8 inches in hardpack clay. Took a long time to dig it out and I almost gave up on it a couple time...that is until I saw a glint of silver.

I plan on beating this find very soon...maybe this weekend! ;D

Geez, that's a tough find to beat. I've gotta do better than a half-dime tho'. It'll happen, It WILL happen.
 

Do you have any info on the watch is any of it intact??

Looks like an early key wind case. There is no stem winder or hole for one. You would open the case and insert a key in the back of the watch mechanism to wind it..Key wind watches are fairly hard to find.

Yep...I got the back open and it is a key wind watch.
