Silver Ring... Again?

I met Tnetter Bergie this morning. He had a permission and invited me along. It was a beautiful morning in the snowy woods but the finds were meager. It was nice to meet another Tnetter. Here is a pic of him.



We hunted until 1:00, he had to leave, so I went to the Honey Hole. Tnetters Smittyman and Mangum were there. It’s getting so that good signals are tough to find.

I managed to scare up a 1935 buffalo. I only show you the pictures so that you can note that apparently I hit BOTH sides of it with the digger.



When this small ring appeared, I gave it a little wipe, and it started to shine, bingo, silver ring. I cleaned it up at home, it’s another Uncas Sterling ring.



I say “another” because this is the third one of this design that I have found.



It was a nice day, 7 wheaties, a buffalo and a silver ring and I hunted in a T shirt.

Sorry buddy. Spring will be here soon.

It was in the 20s this morning, and you can see our lingering snow patches... but it was sunny and after lunch, it got into the mid 60s.
