Just got home had a couple hours before school ended so a buddy and I went out swinging. Site goes back to atleast 1600. Found an awesome silver cross and a thimble tinkler round balls etc. The little buckle im not sure of. Its brass but pretty lightly built for horse tack I would think could be wrong. It kind of reminds me of a sling buckle. And maybe lead false teeth? If that a thing. 20201013_114952.jpg20201013_125010.jpg20201013_152726.jpg20201013_152745.jpg20201013_153412.jpg20201013_153451.jpg20201013_153419.jpg20201013_153422.jpg20201013_153435.jpg20201013_153451.jpg

Well I dug it on a Seneca site that has produced many native artifacts. It is not near any modern 1800-2020 it was a Seneca fort. This was found very close to the cross not to long ago.20201013_192003.jpg20201013_192008.jpg

Nice finds, and that cross looks so much better now that you've straightened it out!

I think so to took my time and anneled it a few times along the way

Looks like you're on a good "Fur Trade" site! Congrat's!
Nice job on straightening the little cross! Like the "thimble tinkler", too!

Congrats on the Fur Trade silver cross, a real fine example.
It makes me wonder why it was so bent up as it was?

Oh a piece of Fur Trade silver is still on the want list-some badly I might add.
