Silvers at Babe Ruth's summer home
Went with Submerged (Eddie) to an Inn on a lake built in 1875 and most famous for being Babe Ruth's summer home for a long time. I read about this place in the local paper and called the owners and they were very nice about it and we detected all day. Within a few minutes we knew this place hadn't been hit yet. We found wheat after wheat, after....(about 40 wheats in all!!). Six silver coins between the two of us including very nice shape 1908 Barber dime. One silver bracelet with three initials (I was praying it had the Babe's name or initials, but no such luck). Lots of clad. A great day. Here's a link to photo of the Babe at this place. Busy now, but will try to post photos.
