Singer Sewing Machine found. Do not know how old???????

I found this while out scouting new detecting spots. It is an old Singer sewing machine. Heavy little bugger to. Found in some woods. I am not sure how old this is and know it does not have value but its still a piece of history....... or a piece of something! Does anybody have an idea how old this may be?

Anyone know were the serial # is
on Singer treadle machines?

I believe they were on the bottom on the treadles, on the ones with the moter, they are on the bottom underneath the footplate. Mine is stamped into the metal.
