Six years of searching found first Large Silver !

Hello all,

I'm one happy hunter... The last 3 days I have been searching old hunted out sites with my new 12x15 SEF Coil. Its found some deep targets but most have them have been trash. Found 2 wheat's the first day, 4 wheat's the next day and 8 wheat's today. Today also, I found a nice old door nob. I found a nice silver plated spoon end. I found a small gold plated button. I found a clad half dollar and my first large silver!! A 1961 Franklin ! Whoo hoo, took 6 years but I found one. Well... I think that's it?? Here are some pictures ! I hope you enjoy them....

great goin. i nailed a 43 walker late in dec and whatta rush.

so enjoy.

i think a franklin is rarer today lost in ground. unless u counted caches

maybe. because they are so big and were lost last. a huge surface

silver that even ancient detectors could not miss. and i would include

the 1964 kennedy along with.

i would go so far as to guess that there are more barber halfs still

waiting to be found then frankies.

so nice to see an honest person tell about finds.

when they been waiting that long i know its for real.

sometimes i have trouble beliving some newbies claims.

who find it all right away.
