They sponsored a summer league baseball team for boys ages 13 to 15 I think it was? I played for another team and played against them in the late 1950s. They had a lot of money and could afford to "recruit" the best players. We had a good team but they beat us like a drum! I went on to play a little semi-pro ball when I played for Reese AFB in Lubbock, Texas . I got transferred overseas and that ended my baseball career.
