skirmish at Crooked Creek, MO

I came across a reference to a skirmish on Crooked Creek in Crawford County, MO. I have located the creek but I have not been able to narrow down where to look for the battle. Anyone ever hear of this?

Do You have an approximate date?
Missouri and Kansas had many skirmishes between irregulars as general order 24? made it difficult for larger organized CSA forces to find support from locals.
