Whats everyones longest skunk streak on halves?
Right now I am on 13, I found 1 40% before this streak and before that 1 lone 40 it was 12- so overall 25 boxes with only 1 40%

Longest for me was either 16 or 17 boxes in a row.

I've ordered a total of 20 boxes and have 19 skunks. The one non-skunk box has 4-40's in it. I'm fairly new at this but stacking silver out of boxes is pretty painful for me, much slower than CWR or even loose halves. I have found a half dozen or so clad proofs from the boxes including a commemorative. We'll try box 21 on Thursday. This particular branch orders ~8-9 boxes a week in total so I assume someone is finding something or they wouldn't be ordering from there.

well technically your skunk streak is only 13 boxes since you did find a silver.
My worst skunk streak was 52 boxes; however, I just broke a 25 box skunk streak with a few silvers. I've had several smal skunk streaks of 10-15 boxes inbetween the larger ones.

dawg my longest was 21 boxes then a few 12-15 skunk box streaks around it

My longest skunk streak was 10 boxes.

32 boxes in a row, now it seems normal to have 10-15 in row, find something, then 10-15 more in a row lol.

My largest was well over 40 boxes. It may have been over 50. I found a single 40%er that looked like clad from the edge and then promptly went on another 10+ box skunk streak.

These were all from the same bank and lasted over a period of 3 months. Why did I continue to buy skunk box after skunk box? I'm glad you asked. About 2 weeks before the skunk streak, I found a single box with 302 40% halves and a single 1964. I had only been hunting for a few months when I experienced my best box ever and my longest skunk streak ever.

Holy crap 90? Not sure I could endure that that many- I remeber seeing someone a while back mention 60+ and I thought that was bad-

So would everyone say that is a norm? 10-15 skunks for every couple of good boxes? I know some of the real high volume hunters arent that high- well maybe they are if they are searching 30-40 boxes a week im sure 10 or more of those are skunks-

As I posted earlier today, I just found a lone 40% half in a box today. However, before that I hadn't found one keeper in boxes or other MWRs since late February. Loose teller halves have been the only thing producing for me.
