Slave Bracelet ?????

This was dug this morning in Richmond County, Virginia (Northern Neck of Virginia) on an old plantation site dating too late 18th C too late 19th C. This property is got a slave graveyard and lot of records I was able too pull up on the property.. Any information on this bracelet? Slave? Thanks.

no...it was probably on the arm, or mimicked by..someone who became a slave...

certainly an African culture group design.

So far as I know, neither had a place for a name/monogram like yours does, Hut. I think it is an early name bracelet.

I agree it looks as if it should have been monogramed don't you think? I have one sorta like it I got as a child.
