Hi Gang,

Stopped by the old memorial site and sledding hill and asked to detect. A young worker told me ok as long as I stay away from the memorial. I quickly left before older workers ran me off and got away from visitors to start detecting.

I was disappointed--very few pennies but one old Casio watch in the bushes--that was cool. Lawn mowing guy ran me off with his big 5-blade mower--thought he had the right of way, or something.

Later I got brave, stopped and ask to hunt at a local swimming pool. Turned out the pool manager's Dad used to detect. But, I only could detect right then and only had an hour as pool is opening Fri for Memorial Day Weekend.

We got to talking and I got about an hour and a half in and made $8.97.

33 - Quarters
1 - Nickel
6 - Dimes
7 - Pennies
1- Small little girls ring
