Nothing too exciting being found today...tried a few new sites that didn't produce what I thought they would, but isn't that the way... here are the finds including a few first such as a complete spigot, 1857 flying eagle cent and this huge axe head... also managed this gold gilted button from an early colonial site which I thought would come in better shape but you can't win them all...

You should have stayed until you got the 3rd because you probably just missed the good one.

Congrats on some old Relics and finding your 1st flying eagle ! :icon_thumright:

Nice find on the complete spigot, also liking the other finds. :icon_thumright:

I like that barrel tap and the colonial button with the gold gilt!

Congratulations on all your finds, the axe is awesome. I bet that would take a big man to swing that baby. The fatty is always a nice find. One thing about finding a Flying Eagle penny is the feel of the coin, it is fatter than a regular Indian Head penny.

One time my partner and I both found two Fatties in one year. I have found 5 of them.

Again Congrats,
HH, Ringfinder
