Hey Guys, got out yesterday for a couple of hours in the early afternoon and I must say, I was enjoying the sunshine!
Although I hunt all year round, I really gotta say, I was loving the weather. For me, Spring is my favorite time of year to dig even
with the constant battle against poison ivy and ticks
:P
I drove to my site, got out of the truck and within 5 minutes started the day off right with an Eagle Button. I had a great time
but with only 2-3 hours to dig, I was in the zone and finished out the day with some nice finds!
Thanks for looking and
here they are:
Photos during the Hunt:

FRESH FROM THE POUCH:

HOLED BRAIDED HAIR LARGE CENT (This find came in the middle of the dig and had about 5 nails above it in the soil layer but I could still here its strong tone coming through.)

Ornate Buckle/Pin (This relic had an attachment on the back very similar to the ones you find on the back of some Rosettes as can be seen in the group shot below. It's very pretty in person

Old English "R" Ring (Found this in an area where alot of colonial stuff came from.)

GROUP SHOTS
