...another lucky stars silver ring. It was supposed to hit 50 degrees today, but it didn't come close. I could only stand the cold for
three hours. ;)

The ring says 925 SL. Never saw that mark before.

Cheers!

Yes,..a Japanese yen coin. There appears to be a toy revolver piece in that pile. The piece that slides up to put your caps in, or the "wheel" on a real revolver.
Cool!

I was surprised to find the cap gun piece. Of course I couldn't find any other parts of it. So I'm thinking this field has some fill dirt.

That's why you shouldn't judge a location before you go over it carefully. This field has very little clad. So at first I thought it might be hunted out.

It's not hunted out by a long shot. In fact, I could probably spend the whole weekend finding all kinds of things. The strange part is you can swing for a while with nothing, then
hit a patch full of stuff.

Then in the middle of nothing, hit a ring!

Never pre-judge a location! ;)

the coin with the hole in it is a Japanese coin from the pre world war 2 era, that's at least what my grandfather told me it was. I have several from his collection from when he was there.

good find
