Small Coin ID Help

Hi Everyone, This small coin was found on 5/21 at a Fairgrounds. It was at 5 inches and the Vdi was a solid 24 nickle/ring on my Xlt. Found a little clad also. The fairgrounds was being used so I couldn't hunt it all. HH Catsman ( Rex )

Could be an older Bhat from Thailand. That's my best guess. GL

It is from Thailand. Better hold on to it. If the government continues to implode, all Thai coins might go up
considerable. Good find!!!

For sure, it's a Thai coin; a 'satang' if between 15 and 18mm; or a 'baht' if between 20 and 26 mm. Most of the 'satangs' are of aluminum, the 'bahts' of a copper/nickle combinations. The image is of HM King Bhumibol Adulyade (Rama IX)--in his younger days-- if the coin is dated 1946 or later.
