Small "DROP" of Indians

at 250 year old church grounds.

1864 (soaking, but is L variety, but not visable :( Red book
says if the point of the bust is pointed, not round it's the L,
but the L must be visable to grade good :( )
1881
1888 (UPDATE after Cleaning it is actually 1883 )

2 were on one side of a Fallen tree.
the other on the other side.
'Lotta Brush there, Thought I had Wheats, So I
Didn't take my time and move tree, Brush, Limbs etc.

Just got home & realized what I have.

Guess I'll have to head back Monday.

Don't know on Pics, my Camera as you know is not good,
But once their clean I'll try.

I hope there was a Cache in that tree :P

Well, Small drop anyway :P

1864 (soaking, don't know type yet)
1881
1888

Great finds there Jeff :o Can't wait to see the pictures.

It would seem that Minelab fits you like a glove.

I don't really know why but for some reason I'm finding more Indian cents this year than I have in years. I was beginning to think they were all gone.

Love those Indians!

Re: Small Cache of Indians

wow nice.
You might consider trying a scanner [compact, top of the line name brand scanners are usually well under $100].
I find they do a much better job of coin images, and are more convineient.

Those are some good old coins!
They are the right age for there to be seated coins too.
Good luck going back. Hit it hard.

Sounds like an exciting day.
Maybe there's a seated dime hiding in those roots for you too.
Go get em!
