I have been collecting coins for over 50 years. I years past, the banks would give me canvas bags of coin to search. There was no coin counting machines. (I’m glad there are now when I go to dump.) I search cents, nickels, dimes and halves. I usually do over $3000 a week. I first ordered halves on a continuous basis in December, 2010. I have kept a record of what these boxes have produced along with CWR’s I obtain. This weekend I reached the $250,000 mark. ($250663.00.) I know some of you will do this amount in one year.
The following are my results: TOTALS – Barber - 1
Walking Liberty’s - 17
Franklin’s - 65

90% Kennedy’s –267

90% Commemorative – 2

Clad Commemorative - 3

40% Kennedy’s – 996

1970 D Kennedy’s - 4

Proof Kennedy’s – 104

(S) Proof Kennedy’s - 2

1987 Kennedy – 10

1972 D Kennedy (No FG) – 5

1982 P Kennedy (No FG) – 12

1928 E. Africa 10 cents

1967 British One Penny

1913 British One Penny

1966 British One Penny

Congrats! Pretty good ratio of silver. Any treasures from cent and nickel?

very nice, what are the silver commemorative halves?

In cents, I average about 12 Wheaties to a box. One box actually had over 80. Probably someone's collection got dumped. Back in the "good ole days", I was on vacation in upstate New Hampshire, went to the local bank and asked for cents. You didn't need an account. They sold me a $50 bag. Upon searching it, I found $35 in Wheaties. Back to the present, I have put away $2,000 in copper cents. As for Indian Head's, I've found about 15, the oldest being 1860. I did find a Flying Eagle cent in a CWR, but it was so worn you had to turn it on it's side to see the image.

As for nickels, I usually find at least 1 war per box. Buffaloes show up all the time. Just last week I found two, a 1935 and 1928S. If I find a Jefferson minted prior to 1959 in close to AU condition, I put it in a 2x2. I'm attempting a Whitman blue folder set from circulation and am down to 2, 1939D and 1950D. I have found 2 Liberty's in CWR's.
