Small Portable Trommel

I have never used a trommel before , Almost all the gold mining shows have trommels or a shaker deck so I had a go at building a small portable trommel that is easy to move around , I am not good at typing so I will just put some pic. (worth 1000 words) & let you pick it apart , Drive is 12v gear motor 15 rpm with speed controller , 6 1/2" barrel 17" long (super quiet) I use a 2000gal pump . anyway here are some photos=

Results = I ran the top 1" of dirt from all around the test zone (I had a spill a while ago) to see if I missed anything , Yes I did but not much , Overall works great not much water loss & it found some Gold!

I am getting alot of people that think the wheels are to small to travel over rough terrain , It works just like a dolly , after I test it at least that won't be to hard to change

Yea, on long trails those will shake like crazy. Put one wheelbarrow wheel out front and it will handle any trail smoothly 👍👍
