Small Silver Strike....

I pick up 2 boxes of halves every week, for the past 6 weeks no silver except 1 40% coin. So yesterday between the 2 boxes picked up 13 90% 1964 coins and 2 40% 1968. Now that was a nice couple of boxes finally. I was hoping once the silver started showing up in the various rolls that I might have picked up where someone dumped Grandpa's coin collection, but that didn't happen. Very happy with the small silver strike and hope to find more next week. If not, Oh well, but I have hopes high.

Imagine what your hunt would of been like if you were able to catch those in a $1000 bank bag, hundreds of them for sure. Great catch none the less.
I think it warrants wordage better than a "small silver strike", EXCELLENT more like it.

Got me beat, another $2500 in halves searched and I am at 4-40%

Wife has pulled 2 war nicks, 2 rosies, and a silver proof state quarter in the same period from loose change at work.
