Hello everybody, been awile since I've posted any finds. I had a few days off this week and was driving around town scoping out some new places to hunt when I returned home to be greeted by my nieghbor lady's niece who is looking after her aunt. My nieghbors house was built around 1940, same as mine, and I think she's lived there since it was new. Anyway, she told me that I had permission to hunt there anytime I was ready. I told her that I would like to hunt it sometime this week. So 5-minutes later when I was over in her yard swingin' the dfx I immediatly started finding good stuff. I know of three different plugs with 4-5 wheaties in each hole. Heres some pictures.

You didn't happen to be hunting under the clothes line were you? I could see a bunch of change falling out there or where someone may have sat in the yard in an old web chair.

Good stuff.

We will probably hit it again this fall, the stone is more than likely glass.

The hot spots were all up by the house. The clothes line had tons of foil under it and I was digging wads of it up.

Nice finds, Clump. Wish I had a "friendly" neighbor like that.

So between us, we averaged 18.5 wheats and 3.5 silvers in our last old yard :'( Way to go; you hit a good spot there.

Wow, what a nice haul and right next door too! Looks like they had holes in their pockets.

WTG Bub!
Just think...you would have only been posting half of those finds if
I would have been there with ya...ok...then 3/4 of it...lol
What a great yard that was!

Your actually beating th odds there. My working theory is that you should 1 hit silver for each 10 wheats you did. You did better than that! Cool relics too!
