Marked 238 Brooklyn with a genie type lamp on the front. The back looks like it used to have a chain attached. Marked 1/10 10K GF.

Also says something that is too small to make out.

COOL! Could that be related to the Engine Company 238 Brooklyn of the New York Cit fire Dept?
 
the little lamp is usually school or college related, maybe a school district pin?
