Found this 2 weeks ago on the edge of a driveway 5 inch`s deep leading to the entrance way of house near downtown smithfield NC. with one horse shoe, 3 pennys, one old plumbing clean out plug an 2 lawnmower blades with a $9.00 detector from Harbor Freight.

Research revealed gold rolled with brass as the center and could have been manufactured in the late 1800`s or early 1900`s. Maybe conneticut.

I can just imagine a woman jumping down from a horse drawn cart in the middle of the winter and this sliding off her wrist. BIRRR

May end up turning it over to the towns historic folks or the homeowner
