Snake Remedy Please!

we need pictures....large snake pictures....he's been eating someting....rat, cats, dogs, small children, a miniature pony....something to get that large..

yep...he's hang'n around that porch for something...you have a bird cage on your porch WSdaddy?

Remember snakes beat a cat 10 -1 for keeping down rodents. As was mentioned, what has it been eating? Maybe it has been eliminating a mouse / rat problem for you. Personally I never kill them, just move them. The only ones that get it, are the rattlesnakes around the house. in the field they rate a cautious "HI", nothing more.

Black snake. They are con sitered by many to be good luck . They keep other snakes away and eat rodents. I grew up in an area where there were copper heads around. One day my Dad brought home 2 black snakes about 1 foot an a half long each . I never saw another snake on our proptery after that. I would see them a lot suning on the stone wall ,or in our barn ,or on the pourch. We could easily get within 2 feet of them and they never struck at us. Last time I remember seeing them they were both over 6 foot long.
If he is on the pourch he's doing You a favor ,looking for a rat or another snake .

Yeah, he'll get rid of the nasty ones ya don't want. I have a couple around here. Saw one just last week. Was putting bird seed in the feeder on the back deck and looked down (20 feet or so) and saw one slithering along. Just load him up and toss him out on the back forty, Daddy.

I was gone all day yesterday and when I got home late,my in-law said she believed the snake was gone.She said she saw it going up the hill to the front(about an acre away) and she let Dixie(dog)out and my dog chased it all the way up,so maybe it went across the road to more woods.
