Went to a coin club Christmas dinner yesterday and a good friend brought me a gift. Itā€™s the only artifact he owns, one he found as child ~40-45 years ago.

Itā€™s a 4-1/8ā€ Burlington blade that was found in a creek bottom and in Illinois around the St Louis area.

Itā€™s a really well made blade. The base is worked at an angle and the blade has 1 or probably 2 resharpenings. There is light basal grinding.

I believe itā€™s a Kramer, but Iā€™m not 100% certain. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks for looking. And thanks to Dan for the blade.

Appreciate all the input. Etley was my first thought. It definitely could be an Etley but the flaking, the basal grinding and the straight stem all led me away from it. I thinks itā€™s more likely a Stone Square Stem then Etley.
