This is 2 days finds OF hunting where there were 25 thousand people at the beach . They must have left all there Loot on there dresser at home cause it sure as Hell wasn't at the beach,,, Im fixing to get a new hobby cause this one just isn't doing it for me ... just Little Pi$$ed Off .. Guzz1

Hey JP , I don't think so , not at this spot ,,, its gets over looked . I wasn't stepping in any holes out there. I think the current is running funny ..and I have never seen so many old style pull tabs (beaver tales) where are they coming from , They quit making those back in the 70s.... oh well things always do turn around... I think the treasure forums and gold prices have attracted too many new hunters to the water!

I've "NEVER SEEN" so many hunters on the beaches!!!

I hit my beach about 10 min. after the crowds staggered away for the night and the best I could do was .75 in clad.

My attorney is looking into this to see if I have a case against anyone here for hyping up July 4.......I'm thinking something along the lines of a "mental anguish" thing......I'll let you all know how everything turns out.

But seriously, I can only imagine that "others" beat us to it because my beach is good for a heck of alot more clad than that on any given weekday ...........he!! I didn't even get too many pull tabs that night.

Hey Guzz,
Why there were no goodies at your beach was when I got there at 6:30am on the 5th it was like I opened a flood gate behind me! There were like seven other water hunters maybe more that started working it, hard to keep track with all the people that were in the water, and the dry was covered too!

I feel your pain man! I have been there in a state beach park full of tourists and have little to show for it.

Maybe you should do some non-beach hunting..the research could really pay off if you find the right spots! I beleive there are caches witing to be found man!

MAKES good sense ,,I have thought about stop posting my finds for other reasons though The craig list thing,,,, but it is nice to to see all the loot ..Thats what make T net fun .. GUZZ

I agree Guzz, but I think we are cutting our own throats sometimes.
My last post had 239 look and no comments. I am done posting about finds for the most part. More and more people are on the net and that is great, but this world just seems to keep shrinking and to me a big part of this hobby is exploring. Who wants to explore a well beaten path?
I don't know sour grapes I guess, sorry! I went to one of my spots yesterday and I saw 4 machines in the first 20 minutes. Maybe I should just move to Alaska and dig nuggets, there has to be a place up there that doesn't see a lot of traffic.

People don't realize the power of the boards and here is an example.

One of my best fishing holes, I went to for years and kinda had to myself and a few others, Somebody started hyping the spot on the fishing report boards. Next day the place is mobbed. If the place was ever a secret it aint no more. Now it is the "hot spot". Well it was always a good spot, just that there was 1/10th the people.
