So What's Your Day Job

Other than TimZim (who does like 500 boxes of halves per week and has probably pulled more silver this year than I will before the year 2020), the rest of us have to work a normal job to pay the bills. When I'm not outsmarting bank tellers and stacking silver, I'm slaving away as a pharmacist, trying not to get outsmarted by the losers that come in almost every day with their forged oxycodone prescriptions. Not to bad of a gig, though. I pays well and offers some security in this lousy economy. How about you? What's your day job

I work at a facility that receives coin from banks and then re rolls the coin for distribution to/between banks. If you have received boxes of coin from a bank that contain silver, that is only because I like you.

With the name EE most people think I am a Electrical Engineer, that is not the case. I am a machinist at a machine shop that builds stuff for power plants and sometimes large boats like cargo ships and oil tankers. This is the largest single part we make, well, this is half of it. It was made out of a 1 inch thick piece of stainless steel. I use a plasma torch to cut pieces out of plate steel and sometimes I run the punch press and drill press. Its a boring job but its a job.

That chunk of stainless is worth a pretty penny I bet. Cool job in my book.
