Soccer Field Fun

[mikeandwife91]

My wife and I went to a local soccer field this past Saturday and had a ball finding stuff. In a couple of hours we got $3.67. No silver, but an enjoyable time. I set a new coing record for me. One hole had five quarters stacked nicely on top of each other with a sixth one beside them. As we were getting ready to shut things down, my wife had a hit on her X Terra that she wasn't sure what it was. I swung my MXT over it and it showed a 14. All the pulltabs I dug up were 18 to 20, so we dug it up and it was a really nice gold ring. It has a narrow band with 5 small diamond chips in a star, and four more in a line under the star. All of her friends at church loved it, but she said it was too dainty for her, so she gave it to her mom, that's why there is no picture of it. It was also fun talking to people that stopped by and answering questions about metal detecting. Can't wait to get out again.

I stopped for 30 minutes at the old soccer field near my house I scored a 2009 penny, a corona cap, and half a crushed beer can that was 7 inches deep and showed up as jewelry, not sure if my wife would wear it as a pendant or not!!! I have been working on research am will have some great virgin ground to hunt on soon!!!! you kicked my butt ....
