Soccer field silver

After my dissapointing hunt today at another old yard, I thought I'd try my luck at a soccer field nearby. I couldn't swing my coil two feet without hitting zincolns and other clad, so I decided to just dig the quarter hits. Quarters were popping out left and right! I slowed down and started getting hits at 7" or so, I was a little suprised to dig so many wheaties!
I really didn't expect the two silver dimes, even tho, where there's wheats, there may be silver! Thanx for lookin. FFD

Hey Rambler, long time no reply...er somthin'... nearby soccer fields are my quick hunt staples. I work long hours and the sports parks satisfy my limited hunting time. I've found most of my rings there. Never got old silver, but lots of quarters like you.

Hey Jim what's happenin? Just slow down a bit when you hit those sports fields! I didn't think they held anything but clad, wow was I wrong! Last year I dug tons of old ones on those kind of fields, including 1800's silver less than 3" deep. Take it easy and HH....FFD
