Was out disc golfing on saturday morning(still don't have metal detector yet),and just like ball golf, the disc went into the brush, when I went in there to get it out ,I came across a small pocket spill of 1950 quarters and 3 small cheap looking gold rings.Took the rings to a jewlery/gold buyer and got $75,not bad.Earlier that morning I took the dog out for a walk in the 'hood and found a $20& a $1 bill+50 cents,so $96 for not sitting on my ass all day:laughing7: ,I think wife will let me get my Tesoro MD soon:hello2:.

You don't need a metal detector! You are doing pretty good on your own. Tennessee digger

you make me sick:laughing7:

maybe I need to trade my detector for a frisbee

You should have weigh them to find their true value first before selling them... Next time check the weight and value first.... I bet they were worth a lot more than $75...

Here is a gold calulator site for you..

Precious Metal Calculator from Dendritics

Good deal - now get that new machine and find some more!
