Solid rolls of wheaties

I went to the bank today and I was looking for Enders and 12 of the rolls had double wheatie Enders . It looks like they are all solid rolls. I am going to go home and sort them. I will post results in a little while.

All of the rolls were solid wheaties except one roll had a couple memorials and a 1960 Canadian cent. Here are my results.

1 1914
8 1930's
225 1940's ( including my first 1943 steel cent)
360 1950's

Total: 594 wheat cents

Congrats! Almost 12 rolls of solid wheat cents is a great score. I don't think I ever found a solid roll of wheats myself. Gonna have to really update your signature totals after that score.

Thanks guys! These are my first solid rolls of any denomination I have found. It also helped my averages. I have searched $866 in cents this year and have found 744 wheat cents.

Here is a pic. The pile on the left is the 1940's, the pile on the right is the 1950's, the small pile is the 1930's, and the one sitting by itself is the 1914.

This is a rather newbie question, but how are you able to "search" the ends? Did you buy them and then see the ends, or does the bank actually allow you to inspect rolls before purchasing them (look at the ends)?

If on the ends of the roll the "reverse of the coin" is showing the words "one cent", then you know you have a 'Wheat' cent. Banks normally don't allow you to search the rolls, however most will let you look at the box to make sure it's a complete box filled.
