Solid silver thimble, Hard Times Large Cent token, shield & V nicks, etc
I haven't been out in a long time, but I got back from 5 weeks of work and went for a hunt with my Bastaard buddies Bart and Charlie. The Basstards of Bramble reunion was excellent and there were many finds for all.
I found one large copper on the hunt which ended up in a week-long peroxide spa. The find that got me real excited was a beauty silver thimble. It ran up as a 12-44/45 on the CTX. Here's a pic of the top
1837 Hard Times Token that I salvaged from absolutely terrible soil.

Here's an undug example
The thimble, A Simmons "Pricilla", Pat. date 1898

And the rest

The nickels suffers the most. But it's always nice digging the older ones
Stay tuned for more. The season is only starting now up here in NJ and I hope to get out a whole hell of a lot. cheers and good digs
