Hi All,
Dug this up from a burn pit of an old house (around 1910s), but land was in use since 1850s by military.
It appears to resemble a collar disc, but it has more to it then just a collar disc. The back shaft is hollow, and has a square pegged rivit pressed into it. The disc also has a offset peg, and there is a seperate plate with three rivets and it is cut such that it allows about 75-80 degrees of movement. The US part is around 1-1/16 inches in diameter.
What is this for (Uniform of a horse?)
