Some different stuff today.

Some various harness items: buckle, frame, etc and a Coopers Improved trace carrier (my favorite). 2 items of question. The curlicued piece, top left, is new to me; my first one. Obviously harness rigging, but can’t find info.
I’m also curious about the nail. 2-1/2” long. Is it a rose head, or just corroded? Thanks
