All Treasure Hunting
After 22 years I finally got permission to hunt this site again. It still needs rain but I was able to find a few nice pieces and lots of broken pieces. All of the Pottery in the last picture are Rim Shards. Those all came off the river bank.

Felt really good to walk this spot again. My dad and I used to hunt this a lot and found well over 100 perfect Triangles there once, along with Beads, Pendants, Scrapers, etc. One of our best hunts ever. Wish he could still walk it with but his knees are shot and at 84 he's not interested in replacing them.

So I’ve been internally debating the pros and cons of jumping in with my “I see a face” artifact/curiosity.
So, (in unity with The Grim Reaper) here is my standout WHATSIT:
I saw this Knapped piece on the ground. I knew it wasn’t a point, and it didn’t seem to be broken. So I took it home and cleaned it up. Then (of course the sunlight hit it at the most magical angle and TA-DA!ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1554641896.546832.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1554642094.390089.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1554642107.313940.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1554642117.589481.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1554642127.889795.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1554642138.092714.webp
Maybe it’s a face.....
And, maybe it’s not...

I see the face on yours just like I see it on mine, but both are natural occurrences and not man made.

Me too. I bring these kinds of rocks home all the time.
