some garage sale finds

I haven't been out with the detector much this month, I need to get out soon. But I did manage to get some goodies at some garage sales yesterday. I bought a bunch of scrap jewelry for $3. I got a decent amount of silver, 1 necklace, some big silver ear rings, a nice old mexican sterling ring that's big and heavy, and an old 1/20 over sterling heart pendant that opens. I also got some earrings that might be gold. They say 10k, but I think they might be plated. I'll have to get them looked at. Either way, I got 20 grams of sterling for 3 bucks, and hopefully some gold. More to add to the pile.

yea not bad, not as exciting as finding something cool detecting. It's still fun, and you never know what you'll find for almost nothing.
