Today I went back to an old site I hadn't been at for a couple years. The site had a large farm on it dating to the mid 1800s. I suspect there may have been a blacksmith shop or something near this spot because the ground is full of large pieces of iron. I think the round thing might be a weight for a scale. The big spike is the largest one I've found yet.

Neat finds -- I like the wrench. Do you know what the loop with the hole in it at the upper right was used for?

I don't think the item would of been a (counter)weight off a scale.
It's highly likely it was a counterweight for a lid for grain/feed bin in the barn.

The assortment looks like every scrap pile of broken bits that a farm amasses after decades of occupation.
That's a big spike for sure.

The item in upper right appears to be a piece of rigging for a horse harness. From a single tree or double tree, IMO.
A wooden pole would go through the larger hole and an iron hook would hang from the other.

The parts with the loop, there are two of them, would have fit on the end of a singletree and would have had a hook going through the smaller loop.

Here is an example of how the scale weight would have hooked onto a balance beam.
