Found the big one today....wish I could see what it used to be...seems like it might have been a large knife??

The other three I might have posted before...can't remember.....some of my favorite broken....especially like the thin stemmed one.

Thats what I find mostly. I dont always pick them up anymore unless it has a nice base to it. I find so many tips and bases there is noway to find the other half of nothing. Thanks for sharing, rock

If you don't pick them up how will you ever know if you do find the other half? if you're hunting the same fields again and again you might. I don't have any fields to hunt but if I did I'd sort my brokes by field and check them occasionally. Of course if you find a lot that might be impractical. Lol.

I did that for the 1st year and got a big tub of broken pieces then tried to sort them by color and material. Not saying it is impossible but never did find any that matched. Gave it all away at a show to kids they seemed to like them. If it is half there I will save them otherwise I just flip them with my stick.
