Some junk/clue finds

Hey all,

Haven't posted in awhile. It's usually junk anyway when i do, but just to put something out there. I am currently saving for a new detector. I only hope I can get it before the digging season is over. The picture is just a few of the trash items found from the last few hunts...were nothing more than a brief curiosity...or at best clues to better finds. All but the Maglight tip, buckles, coins, padlock and button were found in one small isolated area. I have found items there dated from 1925-1930 in addition to 1960's silver. Lots of old car fragments. The area is on a rise next to a creek and slopes toward the creek but the ground is compacted with gravel...so it's a ***** to dig there. I would have spent more time but i got there later in the day and the mosquitoes were making a meal of me. I plan to pick at that area a lot more though.

So I looked at your pic and I have a question.WHERES THE JUNK MY FRIEND ? I see amazing historical artifacts plus I find that coins are amazing to find but your items to me at least are just as nice.WONDERFUL FINDS MY FRIEND KEEP DIGGIN AND HOPE THAT YOUR NEW DETECTOR IS JUST AROUND THAT TREE NOPE NOT THAT ONE,YEAH THAT ONE LOL THATS WHERE ALL THE GOLDS BURIED GOOD HUNTING MY FRIEND

But junk is treasure lol! I know, you're right...I probably shouldn't call it 'junk'. I think I have cherry pick fever...passing off items like this as just 'eh'. But, i think they are good clues...as the area has produced silver before. But i'll take anything with any margin of interest these days. Thanks for the likes and comments everyone!
